Mori Girl Monday : Budget Friendly Coordinates

Photobucket

Back on another Monday with a few more quick coordinates! I've listed how much each item cost for these outfits. I've had most of these items for a while, so I've tried to be as accurate with the prices as possible. I hope this is helpful for those on a budget!

This outfit uses store-bought, second-hand, and hand-made items. Its layers and knits make it perfect for autumn or early spring.
This outfit uses a t-shirt tunic from H&M ($12) as the first layer (it's underneath everything), a yellow plaid dress from Forever 21 (clearance for $16) that has faux leather straps & covered buttons, a long brown knit vest from the thrift store ($3) that has been decorated with lace and a woolen bow, and a hand-made skirt underneath (materials cost $10).
The scarf, which is a rose design, is from the thrift store ($1). The brown faux leather bag, perfect for holding treasures found on a walk through the woods is from H&M (around $15). The beautiful necklace, which has bits of lace and trim attached, is a gift from a friend (check out her blog: Moss Garden). Again, the shoes are a cheap online find (around $12).

On to the next outfit...

I thought it would be fun to put together an outfit only using items I already own that I found at the thrift store. I cheated a little by adding the inexpensive pocketwatch necklace. It looks a little plain, but I think it demonstrates how easy it is to find things that work for mori girl. The long sleeve shirt cost $1, the knit tank cost $1, and the skirt was around $3. That's only $5! Add some sandals and a few accessories, and you're ready to go.

Let's see it spiced up a bit with some brown items...

First let's count in the necklace, which was $6. The hat was found online for around $20, the H&M bag again for about $15, a vintage lace valence (found at a thrift store) with a scrap of lace for a belt cost about $4, the brown Loft skirt from the thrift store was $5, and the shoes found online for around $12.
This outfit comes in at approximately $67

Thanks for looking, and see you again on Monday!
